Public Architects has done a lot with a little in their design of this small concrete house. What Baltazar House lacks in square footage, it makes up for in innovation and style. This concrete house in La Jolla, California extends into the outdoors, making the most of the amazing views of the Pacific Ocean through glass-enclosed upper level. Supporting the glass walls is a concrete base; a simple support punctuated by minimal details apart from some windows. On the rooftop patio of this glass and steel home, breathtaking vistas stretch as far as the eye can see. This small house was named Best New House of the Year by San Diego Home & Gardens Magazine February 2008. Public Architects

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is ‘thank you’, it will be enough/
We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love/
A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all other virtues/
